Introducing, The Bee Bowl. A 10 inch diameter bell metal bronze singing bowl, hand-made in Kathmandu Nepal.
Each Bee Bowl is first selected for it's tonal qualities from hundreds of bowls. Singing bowls are "discovered" as well as being made. The handmade nature of them means that even in the hands of practiced experts, we will look for those bowls whose sounds represent the instruments we make.
The focus for this bowl is brilliant fundamental sound, invited to play on it's side and then sounding stable, resonant and for an impressive duration. It's rim tone is quintessentially Ohm, selected for a wonderful, high and uplifting tone.
Aesthetically, this is a celebration of the Worker Bee. Integral to our ecosystems and remarkable in the vibrational energy they create, Ohm Store's Lauren Andrews created this, as homage to our own backyard bee hives.
